2024 GMC Hummer Price, Specs, Redesign – One of the most iconic, bad-ass off-road vehicles of the last century will be reimagined as an electric GMC Hummer in 2024. Although Hummer is now owned by GMC, its distinctive design and impressive off-road capabilities are faithfully maintained in electric vehicle form. The latter is likely to be even more special because of its advanced technology, amazing power output, and unique capabilities like four-wheel steering that enable the much-ballyhooed crab mode. Most interesting about the new Hummer is its Ultium battery technology, which provides quick charging times and a massive battery pack with an estimated range of more than 300 miles. The interior is identical to a pickup truck, with a mix of high-tech content and removable roof panels that allow for an open-air experience.

Exterior
Hands-free driving on the highway will be possible with enhanced versions of GM’s Super Cruise in the Hummer EV SUV. In addition, a slew of driver-assistance features that are already standard on many popular vehicles is expected. The National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA) and the Insurance Institute for Highway Safety (IIHS) have more information on the Hummer EV SUV’s crash-test results. Additionally, an extensive 13.4-inch touchscreen infotainment system and numerous onboard connectivity options will be standard equipment on the new Hummer H3. Apple CarPlay, Android Auto, and a Wi-Fi hotspot with a monthly fee are all expected as standard features, as they are on the majority of GMC models. Expect to see a powerful Bose stereo system, built-in navigation, a backseat entertainment system, and wireless charging among the available options.
Interior
In the Hummer EV SUV, the interior is both rugged and futuristic. A 12.3-inch digital gauge cluster is one of two large displays on its three-dimensional dashboard, which includes vertical and horizontal air vents. With a thick T-shaped shifter on the center console, the Hummer has a lot of hard buttons and physical switchgear rather than annoy users for the sake of appearances. The top-of-the-line Edition 1 has leather-stitched surfaces and distinct bronze accents, making it look upscale. In addition to its removable roof panels, the Hummer’s cabin has another distinctive feature: a fold-down table. Four transparent Sky Panels and an I-bar above the front seats can be removed using the Infinity Roof system. Once the slats are folded down, the SUV Hummer has 82 cubic feet of cargo space in addition to the area under the load floor.
2024 GMC Hummer Engine
GM’s new Ultium battery technology makes every Hummer significantly more environmentally friendly than the old gas-guzzling H2 and H2 SUT. While the 400-volt electrical system on the EV2 base model is standard, the 800-volt electrical system is also available as standard on all other trim levels. A massive 200.0-kWh battery pack has been confirmed by General Motors, but neither the official dimensions nor the actual usable capacity has been disclosed. Even with a claimed driving range of over 300 miles and a charging speed of up to 300 kW, the electric SUV is impressive.
According to their model names, the SUV version will have two or three electric motors, based on the Hummer EV pickup truck. An estimated 625 hp and a claimed 7400 lb-ft of torque are generated by a dual-motor setup found in both of these vehicles. There are three motors (one in the front and two in the back) in the EV3X, with a claimed 830 horsepower and 11,500 pound-feet of torque. Our previous explanation of the fallacy of such incredible torque claims stands. Between 1000 and 1100 pound-feet of torque are expected to be available. Despite its size and weight, the most powerful Hummer EV SUV has a claimed zero-to-60-mph time of approximately 3.5 seconds.
2024 GMC Hummer Price and Release Date
GMC has released pricing and is now accepting reservations for the 2024 Hummer EV SUV, but it will not be available for purchase for another couple of years. A year from now, when the EV2X becomes available, we’ll upgrade to get the more desirable features, so that’s what we’d buy if we were to place an order.
